PRIVACY NOTICES
This information provides you with an overview of how your personal data is processed when you visit the website limehome.es or book one of our accommodations. We will inform you about which data we collect and how we use it. We will also inform you about your rights under applicable data protection laws and who to contact if you have any questions.

III. What data do we process?
We process your personal data when you book one of our accommodations, provide us with information via a contact form on our website, or contact us in any other way. In detail, this may include the following data:
- Data about your rented Limehome accommodation
- Data required to book one of our accommodations (billing address, arrival and departure dates, mobile phone number, email address)
- Payment processing data (credit card details, account data, and other payment information)
- Data we receive when vouchers are redeemed (redeemed vouchers, date and place of redemption)
- Data generated when you add products to your shopping cart
- Data you provide for reviews and product evaluations
- Data collected during the use of our website limehome.es via cookies (pages accessed, links clicked, services used, duration of use)
- Data about your location (if you have enabled location data collection in your device settings)
- Data you provide when subscribing to the Limehome newsletter (e.g. email address, title, first name, last name, postal code)
- Data we need to prove your consent to receive the Limehome newsletter (IP address and timestamp of subscription, as well as clicking the confirmation email link, consent declarations given)
- Information you provide via a web form or otherwise when contacting our customer service
- Data you provide when applying for a job or submitting an unsolicited application (personal data, education data, previous employment data, cover letter, CV, portrait photo, certificates)
Push Notifications of the Mobile App
When you use our mobile app, we process the following data in connection with push notifications:
- Device information: device model, operating system version, language, app version
- Notification identifier: unique push token assigned by Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) or Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- Notification preferences: whether you have enabled or disabled marketing notifications
- Interaction data: information on whether and how you interact with notifications (e.g. open, dismiss, click)
Purpose: Sending push notifications (e.g. booking confirmations, check-in/check-out reminders, stay-related information, special offers, promotions, recommendations), provided that you have given your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
IV. Is there an obligation to provide data?
There is no legal obligation to provide your data. However, some of the above data is necessary to conclude and perform contracts for our services. Without providing the data required for contract execution, we are not able to conclude a contract with you regarding Limehome GmbH services. Providing other data is voluntary but may be necessary for the use of certain services. When entering data, we will inform you whether the provision is required for the respective service or function. Such data is marked as mandatory fields. If data is required, its absence means that the respective service or function cannot be provided. In the case of optional data, its absence may mean that we cannot provide our services in the usual form and scope.
V. For what purposes do we process your data and on what legal basis?
Processing of orders in the online shop
We process your data for handling bookings in our online shop. This includes service provision, payment processing, granting discounts, redeeming vouchers, and handling complaints. We will inform you by email about the receipt of a booking and its status. On the day of your arrival, we will send you your access code via SMS. We will transfer your data to third parties insofar as this is necessary for payment processing or service provision. Outstanding claims may be transferred to a debt collection agency. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
Stored data for contract execution will only be transferred to third parties (e.g. IT providers, email services, payment processors) where necessary. These parties may only use the data to fulfill their tasks.
Payment processing
As part of payment processing, your data may be transferred to payment service providers. Credit card or other payment data are not stored by Limehome GmbH but are transmitted directly to the providers.
Payments are processed by our partner Adyen BV, Simon Carmiggelstraat 6 – 50, 1011 DJ Amsterdam. To prevent fraud, your IP address is transmitted to Adyen BV. All data is transmitted in encrypted form.
Advertising
In addition to processing your data for bookings, we also use your data for advertising purposes as described below. You may object at any time. An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient.
Direct advertising by email
We use your email address from a booking to send recommendations for similar products. You receive these regardless of newsletter subscription. You can object at any time or unsubscribe via the link in each email. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Section 7(3) UWG.
Advertising by post
We use your billing address to send postal advertising. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Personalized advertising
We analyze your data to tailor advertising to your interests and create target groups. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a), (f) GDPR.
Customer satisfaction surveys
We process your data to invite you to surveys (e.g. after bookings). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Web analytics / tracking
We use Adobe Analytics to create pseudonymous user profiles and improve our website. IP addresses are anonymized. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Contact form
We process your data to respond to inquiries and send requested information. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b), (f) GDPR.
Application
You can apply for jobs online. Your data is processed for recruitment purposes. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, Section 26 BDSG.
Server logs
To ensure system security, we process connection data such as IP address, pages visited, time, browser, and operating system. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We use cookies to improve usability and analyze usage.

We work with Braze, Inc., USA for communication. Data is stored in Germany and Ireland.
VII. Are data processed outside the EU?
Yes. We use providers in third countries with EU standard contractual clauses to ensure adequate protection.
